The Dog Penn Rules For Humans

  • All humans entering The Dog Penn must be 21+. Sorry, no exceptions.
    2 dogs max per human.
  • The Dog Penn is a non-smoking, non-vaping establishment, inside and out. Secondhand smoke is hazardous to dogs. If caught smoking, guests will be asked to leave.
  • No outside, toys or chews permitted.
  • Do not feed dogs other than your own.
  • Reservations are required for events only. We are open six days a week. There may be a wait during peak times/weekends, with priority given to members; subject to capacity limits.
  • Owners are responsible for their dog’s behavior. Kindly pay attention, pickup after your dog and be prepared to separate your dog if necessary.
  • All dogs must be accompanied in the park. If you need to leave the park for any reason, please leash and bring your dog with you or ask a Scamp Counselor for assistance.
  • Owners must pickup after their dogs. Bags, scrubbers and covered receptacles and hand sanitizer are provided.
  • Please respect our bartenders and Scamp Counselors. Owners may be asked to separate their dog, leash up or remove their dog. Ignoring a request may result in removal from the park entirely.
  • The Dog Penn staff may separate, redirect or move your pup to more suitable play or physically remove them if you are not managing.
  • Owners are responsible for their dog’s behavior, safety and any injury or damage they inflict or encounter.
  • Owners knowingly and voluntarily assume any risk of harm to themselves and their dog. A waiver must be signed prior to entry.
  • The Dog Penn operates on a three-strike system. Any incidents are reviewed and documented. Aggressive behavior will not be tolerated, and staff reserves the right to ban any dog permanently based on the situation.

The Dog Penn Rules For Dogs

  • All dogs must be registered in our system prior to entry. Save time by completing the online registration before heading to the park. Dogs will not be allowed to enter without current vaccination records on file.
  • All dogs must be 4 months of age to enter.
  • All dogs must be spayed or neutered by 1 year. No exceptions.
  • Vaccinations must be up to date (Rabies, Distemper / Parvo / Lepto (DHLPP/Da2PP) and Bordetella). A copy of your dog’s vaccination records must be on file prior to entry. NO EXCEPTIONS. Dogs without current vaccination records on file will not be able to enter The Dog Penn, this includes dogs who do not intend to enter the outdoor dog park. 
  • Dogs must be clean and free of fleas and ticks.
  • All dogs must wear a flat quick release collar or harness. All leashes, prong, choke, spike or martingale collars, Air tags, E-collars, or other choking hazards must be removed before entering the park.
  • Dogs must be friendly and sociable to people and other dogs. This also applies to dogs who do not intend to enter the outdoor dog park. This is a social place and not the space for unfriendly dogs.
  • Dogs that bark excessively will be asked to leave the park, dogs that mount excessively will be asked to leave the park.
  • Foster dogs are not permitted without consent of the foster organization.
